As the Holy Union Sisters close their Bicentenary Year, Superior General Sr. Caroline Njah, SUSC, offers a powerful address reflecting on 200 years of grace, history, and mission—and looking forward to the future with hope.
Standing at the doorway between what has been and what is yet to be, Sr. Caroline invites us into a deep reflection guided by five key actions:
We Remember – Honoring our roots in Douai and the courage of our four pioneering founders.
We Give Thanks – Expressing gratitude for the generations of sisters, collaborators, and friends who carried our charism.
We Let Go – Releasing old structures to remain open to where the Holy Spirit leads us next.
We Trust – Walking into the unknown future with faith in our Companion, Jesus Christ.
We Are Sent – Continuing our calling to prepare the way for Christ and build "a union of heart, mind, and affection."
