Bicentenary Jubilee

We invite you to read this letter from our sisters in Argentina.

Buenos Aires, Argentina, September 20, 2025.
Thunderstorms were forecast. It had rained almost all night. The day was gray, threatening rain. Yet, there we were. We were a group of about 70: alumnae of schools in the city of Buenos Aires: Esmeralda, Seguí, and Nuestra Señora de la Paz, representatives of schools in Junín and Rosario, women from the communities we accompany and who currently accompany us, some family members, and seven priest friends. 
The day began with the celebration was the Eucharist. The chosen readings were:
Beginnings taken from Holy Union Constitutions. The Gospel was the Magnificat, Mary’s response to the Angel Gabriel.

The first Holy Union School was a boarding school in the Caballito neighborhood of Buenos Aires. Today it is the "Primera Junta School". They opened their doors for us to walk through the park and building, remembering, naming the Sisters, telling stories, and singing the "Hymn to the Holy Union" written by Sister María Leticia De Luca. We are very grateful to the school's principal, Mrs. Constanza Somoza! 
The former school chapel, now the "Parroquia Nuestra Señora de Caacupé," also generously welcomed us. We thank Father Eusebio Hernández Greco and the Venezuelan community that supports the parish and who had tastefully prepared the flowers for the altar!
A shared snack in the parish hall brought us together to recharge our batteries, take photos, and continue talking. It was a day of reunion and hugs, of gratitude and celebration.
Thank you to all who joined us and sent their greetings, and to those who couldn't make it due to weather constraints.
